Autumn Term 1 2019-20
Year 3 used their measuring in metres and centimetres skills to see how far their paper planes flew!




Year 3 enjoyed an afternoon of Stone Age research.








Harvest Church Service this morning led by Year 3 - thanks to those parents who helped us walk to and from Church.








Year 3 visited St. Paul's Church for Experience Harvest - they will lead a church service on this on October 15th.








Year 4 enjoyed recreating the 55BC invasion of Britain, from Julius Caesar's point of view.




Lledr: Day 2! Including Gorge Walking, Fisherman's Walk and Night Line!








Year 4 enjoyed Delving into History with Del during their Roman Workshop.








Photos from Day 1 at a wet Lledr Hall, where the children hiked around Llyn Elsi, followed by code breaking games in and around the hall itself.






Year 3 attempted to make their own volcanoes with plastic bottles and paper mache.




As part of their work on Phillipe Petit's Walk Between the Twin Towers, Year 5 attempted to recreate it....safely!




Year 6 enjoyed a trip to Stockport Air Raid shelter as part of their work on World War 2.












Thanks to all those year 6 parents who came to our first reading-themed Open Morning this year.




Art Day included Monet-inspired Lilypads in Year 2, and Paul Klee work in Year 6.
















Year 6 travelled to Manchester Cathedral for the God and the Big Bang workshop.












Maths in Year 2: counting to 100








Art Day, in Year 1 the story of the Wise Man and the Foolish Man, and in Year 2 the story of the Fisher of Men.
