Autumn Term 2 2019-20

Year 3 designed and made their own magnetic games in science.

EYFS and Key Stage 1 Christmas Party saw games, dancing and a visit from a man wearing red...

Year 6 enjoyed baking and decorating Christmas gingerbread men.

Christmas Show season is here! "Gabriel's Big Break" performed by EYFS & Key Stage 1, and "Bethlehem B&B" performed by Key Stage 2.

Huge congrats and well done to our Championship-winning KS2 Girls Football Team!

As part of their work on Winter, Reception enjoyed a snow play trip to the Chill Factore.

Choir sang for members of the public at the Ellesmere Centre, Walkden.

Nursery children helped put the Christmas decorations up in their classroom, before the Naughty Elf visited!!

Year 6 attended Crucial Crew, where they learned some potentially life-saving knowledge.

Year 5 practised their claw chopping techniques ready for some future salad-making.

As part of the International Children's Day celebrations, Year 6 had a break from work and took part in a STEM challenge using paper plate marble mazes.

Key Stage 2 children observed a period of silence at 11am to remember the fallen. Year 6 children laid a commemorative wreath to mark the occasion.

Art Day included these Banksy-inspired Remembrance pieces from Year 2 - they are yet to add sillouhetted soldiers! - and in Year 5, digital Visual Illusions.

Well done to our Year 6 Hockey team who performed really well in a local tournament.

Year 5 enjoyed a workshop focusing on Emotional Health and Wellbeing.
